Rob and Kaylee's rainy wedding portraits in downtown Providence

Rob is a friend and fellow photographer, which has assisted me on shoots in the past (yoga photo shoot/fashion photo shoot).  So I felt very honored when he asked me photographer his wedding portraits.  Rob and Kaylee wanted a city setting for their portraits so we decided to do them right in downtown Providence.  This worked out great because the ceremony was held right in downtown.

The week leading to the wedding we got a little nervous because it was going to rain, but after some planning we realized this would be a good opportunity to crate very unique images; and that is what we got.  Congratulations Rob and Kaylee on your marriage, wish you the best, and thank you for letting me be a part of it.

No time? Just get it done. Shoot with Jennifer Esquilin.

A few months ago, before it got cold out and started snowing, I did a photo shoot in the streets of East Side Providence with the beautiful Jennifer Esquilin. We had put about four hours aside for the shoot but at the end of wardrobe, scouting and getting to the location, hair, and makeup we were left with about 30 minutes to shoot. On top of not haveing that much time, the day wasn't that nice and it was really windy. But in the long run we got some great shots.

The ancient Mayan city of Copan in Honduras

The last days we were in Honduras we stayed in a little town out side of the ancient Mayan city of Copan.  Out of all the places we had been in all off Central America Copan has the best preserved pyramids and statues I had seen, you could just image what this great city looked like in its prime.

Back from a great trip through Central America

Hello there everyone I haven't written anything in a long time because I was out of the US on a backpacking trip through Central America. I thought that I would be able to do posting as I went on my trip but it wasn't that easy, most of the time I wasn't able to get any Internet. So now that I am back in the states I will try my best to add a posting every day of a day on the trip.
On 7/26/10 I left from New York City to Panama were I started my backpacking trip. The first place I stayed at was Hostel Panama by Luis. It was a very nice place, very comfortable and in a very safe area of the city.

That First day I went to El Casco Viejo, that is the area of Panama City that is the historical part; the oldest part. The first thing that stood out to me was that there were a lot of women with color full dresses on and their hair covered. After asking why was they dressed I found out that they were ingenuous people and that is their typical attire.

There were a lot of little parks through out this area and I was really interested with the people just hanging out there.

I tried to do some shots with lighting with two Canon speed lights, didn't get anything I liked but hey at lest I was trying.

After a long day of walking threw historical Panama I was really happy with this shot and was ready for bed and to meet up with La Ruta Inka the next day.
