Summer Recap - Harpon Brewery Boston

My last post was on Prohibition Pig in Vermont so staying in the theme of breweries this post is on a trip my buddies and I did to the Harpoon Brewery in Boston, MA.

One of our favorite IPAs is Harpoon's, so natural I had to get one while we were in the brewery.  But we also wanted to try something new so we got a Leviathan IPA and we weren't disappointed.

"This Imperial IPA is brewed with loads of pale malt and just enough caramel malt to provide a sweet malt backbone to balance the hop intensity. We used a mix of our favorite American hops including Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, and Amarillo to create a complex hop flavor and lingering bitterness. Harpoon’s proprietary yeast lends fruity esters, while dry-hopping at the rate of over one pound per barrel produces this beer’s massive aroma." - Harpoon

Summer Recap - Prohibition Pig Waterbury, Vermont

While in Vermont this summer I had the chance to go to Prohibition Pig in Waterbury.  This restaurant has great food that is all farm to table and the beer they brew is amazing.  If you are in the area and have a chance to stop I highly recommend it!!!
